General Settings
Launch at login, dock icon, launch position, and more.
The General tab in Settings controls how Loopty behaves at a system level: startup behavior, visibility, menu position, and navigation.
Opening General settings
Open Settings (⌘, or menu bar → Settings) and click General in the sidebar.

| Launch at Login | Off | Automatically starts Loopty when you log in to your Mac. |
| Menu Bar Icon | On | Shows or hides the Loopty icon in the menu bar. If hidden, you can still open Settings using the hotkey. |
| Dock Icon | Off | Shows Loopty in the Dock and the ⌘Tab app switcher. When off, Loopty runs as a background menu bar app. |
| Launch Position | At Mouse | Where the radial menu appears when triggered. Options: At Mouse (follows cursor), Middle (center of screen), Top, Bottom, Left, Right. |
| Reverse Scroll | Off | Reverses the scroll wheel direction for navigating focus around the ring. |
| Open at Last Selection | Off | When the menu opens, focus is placed on the last item you launched instead of the default position. |
| Open at Active Apps | Off | Automatically enables the running apps filter every time the menu opens. |
| Navigation | On | Enables scroll wheel and arrow key navigation. When off, those inputs are ignored and you must click directly. |
| Automatic Update Checks | On | Allows Loopty to check for updates in the background using Sparkle. |
Checking for updates
To manually check for a Loopty update at any time, click the Loopty icon in the menu bar and choose Check for Updates.
