Using Loopty
Adding Apps
How to add applications to your radial menu.
You can add any macOS application installed on your system to your Loopty radial menu.
From the Apps tab
- 1Open Settings: click the Loopty icon in your menu bar and choose Settings, or press ⌘,.
- 2Go to the Apps tab in the sidebar.
- 3Browse or search the app grid. You can filter by All, External (non-system), or System apps using the tabs at the top.
- 4Drag any app icon from the grid onto a slot in the radial menu preview on the left side of the Rings tab.
From the radial menu directly
If a slot in your radial menu is empty, clicking it while the menu is open will take you directly to Settings with that slot pre-selected, ready for you to drag an app in.
Browsing and searching apps
- Use the search field at the top of the Apps tab to filter by app name
- Switch between All, External, and System tabs to narrow the list
- Use the Sort option to order apps by name or recently used
- Use the icon size slider to adjust how large the app icons appear in the grid
Note: Apps are identified by their bundle identifier, so Loopty will continue to find them even if you move or rename the app file. If an app can't be found at launch, Loopty will show a loading indicator and attempt to locate it.
