Using Loopty

Adding Websites

Add website bookmarks to your radial menu.

Website shortcuts open a URL in your preferred browser directly from the radial menu.

Adding a website

  1. 1Open Settings (⌘, or menu bar → Settings).
  2. 2Go to the Websites tab in the sidebar.
  3. 3Click the + button to add a new website.
  4. 4Enter the URL (e.g. https://github.com) and an optional display name.
  5. 5Choose your preferred browser for this shortcut, or leave it as Default to use your system browser.
  6. 6Choose an icon (see below), then click Save.
  7. 7Drag the new website from the grid onto a slot in the radial menu preview in the Rings tab.

Icon options

OptionDescription
Auto faviconLoopty fetches the site's favicon automatically from the URL. This works for most sites.
Custom imageUpload your own image (PNG, JPEG, HEIC, or TIFF). It will be resized to fit the icon slot.
EmojiType any emoji and it will be rendered as the icon. A quick way to give any site a distinctive look.

Supported browsers

Loopty detects which browsers are installed and shows them as options. Supported browsers include Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge, Arc, and Opera. Each website shortcut can use a different browser.

Editing and deleting websites

To edit a saved website, click its card in the Websites grid. To delete it, open the edit view and click Delete, or right-click the card and choose Delete.
